I don't have much progress on the process, other than waiting and anxiety and waiting and daydreaming. Like you do. So I thought I'd hop on here and let ya'll know what kind of helpful resources I've been able to find.
First off I've gotten 2 guide books from the library. They were nice and factual, but difficult for me to read. I received one book as a Christmas gift from a friend that I absolutely love. It is Living Abroad in South Korea. It is easy to read and it feels as though someone is sitting in front of me relaying all this information to me. It has information for all sorts of situations and though I am only half way through it (which, for being a nonfiction, is impressive all on its own) the way it is written has me coming back for more. I skip parts that don't apply to me of course...traveling with kids and children and such. It has topics such a culture, employment, and places to live. It's super helpful for sure.
The second is a youtube channel I found called Melody On The Move. She was once an english teacher in South Korea and has many videos on what it is like to live abroad, teach, and travel. Plus! She is a delight and I love her videos. Take a look at this one if you are interested.
