I thought I was stressed before HA! I started emailing advisers and student affairs and such and dug around the documents they sent over so I had something to do while I wait for the 12th to roll around. Upon my research I discovered the crazy amount of timelines and documents I need in order to get this job! Geez! We're talking resume and cover letter (duh), background checks, visa, letters of recommendation,
transcripts (just ordered it suckahs), copies of diplomas notarized and
apostilled (I didnt even know what this was! Click on the word for the definition), and a health statement.
Like.
Talk about overwhelming.
I just sent off a load of questions to student affairs. Haven't started yet and already have all the questions. I also found out that the
EPIK program hires twice a year and the next time they hire is for August/September, which means I'll be homeless for 2-3 months IF I get hired for that season (Please Jesus make it happen!). Buuuuuuut let's not fret on that. That's future Chelsea's problem. I'm telling you. I need like six consecutive spa days.
