I received an offer of employment with a contract! I would be working as a substitute teacher basically until I have a permanent post. I would be working and living in Taipei which is where I wanted to be. I am so pumped! I leave a lot sooner than I thought I would (August 7th) and to be honest I am definitely freaking out from time to time. I go through moments of excitement and terror. I've been told it's normal but I don't think that is helping me very much.
At this point I am trying to get things together. I am waiting for my official certificate and a note from my doctor. I just got a new laptop that is more travel friendly and not 7 years old. My coworkers are excited for me and my boss took the news well - although he knew it was coming anyway.
